My Germany Trip!

Back from Germany! (for more than a week already, oops)
very sad to say that i'm now updating my blog monthly...not weekly!
anyway, its May now! and i'll ORD in a year time! bring it on...bring it on...

alrite, this post is about my Germany trip... i know, these photos make it seems like i'm on a holiday. NO! its formal army training with some free and easy time on the weekends...i can't share with u my training experience here, but yeah...enjoy this part of my fantastic Germany experience!

to have a better picture abt my trip, i've landed my foot on Hanover, Hamburg, Bremen, Heidelberg and Frankfurt!!!!!


b4 reaching the camp, our coach stopped over at Hanover for lunch. Pretty nice place...



On the first Sunday, we went to the Panzer Museum.

2day1night R&R! last weekend in Germany.

the last day...we went to Heidelberg to see the old castle.
it's located on top of the hill. and there was a 70plus year old tour guide to tour us ard this magical place!



i want to go there again! after visiting Heidelberg, we went back to Frankfurt for some last minute shopping! then poof! on the airport! poof, back to Singapore!!!

Yeap, i got to know Germany better from this trip. I mus mention that i don't enjoy eating their food. its lot of ham, different type of bread to munch on, salty meat (most of the time)...and your usual potato, salad, vege etc. aya, i prefer chinese food lah!

but i love the cool weather there... i've went through so much training there, and i didn't perspire more than 10mins of training here in singapore. and night it will get really cold, i needa 'wrap' up myself to prevent from getting cold. i will not survive their winter...lol!

Previously, when i play Counter Strike, my nickname was ParisbOY...and i went to Paris.
then i went on to play another first person shooter game, Day of Defeat. i played on the Germany side 98% of the time. I'm a german dog! hahaha! and now, i went to Germany.
I wonder if i play for US, will i get to go US soon? WAHAHAHA! this is jus a lame connection between my game and my oversea trips....bleh~

Lastly, my mum came back from HK!i treated my mum to watch movie, GuGu the Cat. i like one of the lead actress there...haha! but my mum dozed of three times in the show...lol!!! She muz be damn tired... On mother's day, we had dinner at some food court. it was very rare for me to spend time with her like that nowadays....will cherish every second! Dad is very busy with his work in HK... could only contact him by calling him once a week. Glad that he's doing fine :)
i'll go back and learn chinese painting from u, shifu! (kidding...)

life is pretty good for me now. but i think i can manage my time better. if anyone knows that i have an art blog...it's like facing extinction now. i'm letting it die...super dissappointed with myself. i gotta fix this gotta fix this gotta fix this gotta fix this...can someone jus give me a nice punch on my face??? (i guess one million haters would volunteer in like 10mins...lol)

feeling very excited now. it's going to be freaking cold there...and i hate freaking cold weather.


something really bad happened this month, don't wish to talk much here. Haiz...

Yeap, nothing much actually...

I'm still me. And I won't act or behave like an adult until I have to, haha!

Wat abt being 21? I get to vote, I have rights! and now I needa renounced my British citizenship (born in HK, British Gov was ruling back then.) before I can take my Oath to officially become a Singapore Citizen!!!! I see lots of 'it's your responsibility' thingy coming....so screwed.


Okae, I shall note down abt my last day before adult life, 2nd March 2009.
I never thought that I would get to celebrate my birthday...cos i will be spending my time at the camp. Thus, I have zero expectation...
Miracle can happen. I've experienced it on 2nd March. My status personels (not so healthy ppl..lol) were my angels that day. they were supposed to attend their physio thingy when they book out...and after the treatment, they brought a cake to the bunk!! Thanks Wei Tai and Teo Min!
By right, i should be reading my (boring) book about philosophy and pass my time slowly...
Now, i'm going to cut cake and blow candles (with lights off)...have a bunch of great guys surrounding me...singing birthday song for me! made 3 wishes...But before this, I was forced to do something. It's about almond...one unforgettable experience...oh my god....
yeah, it was pretty high...and then, Wei Tai passed me a gift...they oso bought me an Everlast watch! Wtf! i tot the cake was good enuff...i really tot that i'm dreaming. Great friends, lucky me, end of story! then, meldon smashed a piece of cake on my face. ya, calvin was using a non-camera handphone and 'snapped' lots of pics and took some vids...lol!i just got a standard package of birthday celebration in the army! tats really cool! lastly, i got to watch DMC live action movie thru Teo Min's Psp! had a wonderful night! Thanks guys!!
And that week was the best, we had nothing to do..so we slacked, sleep, read bks and play psp all day long...a movie screening for our battalion on thurs...'Wanted'. nice camera work man...

And i bought a printer yesterday at suntec IT fair. Brother brand, model DCP-185C at $148. Actually i only want the scanning function..but well, ya...so...tats tat... :)

窗台

有好久没站在窗台前了望这美丽的都市了。

还记得以前我不时会走到窗台那儿去欣赏迷人的霓虹灯。

当时的我毫无烦恼、 生活十分简单、 要求很少。

现在我终于又站在这小小的窗台上，

我再次地被那些霓虹灯给吸引住了。

但不到十秒钟我便转身离开。

是我看腻了吗?

霓虹灯说不定比以前更多、更明亮、更迷人呀。

是我长大了。

我的心境变了。

生活不再那么简单， 对人生的要求变多了， 烦恼当然也跟着多了。

现在我把高楼看成了一座座监牢。

快速公路看成了一条条伤心路。

霓虹灯看成了一个个摸不着的希望。

青草原、 苹果树、小山丘、细水流…

我现在只想接触大自然， 和它聊天做朋友。

这些用水泥和钢铁所建造出的高楼大厦，

一栋栋地竖立在我面前，让我难以呼吸。

头上布满星星的黑夜已无法平定我对平凡的渴望。

过去单纯的我已被埋在内心深处，

但总有一天我会解放‘他’!

不知下一次站在窗台前会有什么新的感受。

Balcony

It has been a long time since I was standing at the balcony admiring at the beautiful cityscape.

I still remember that I used stopover at the balcony to gaze at the neon lights.

I was a carefree kid, leading a simple life without much expectation.

Now I’m standing at this small balcony, awed by the neon lights once again.

However this time, I turned around and left almost immediately.

Was I sick of the neon lights?

There should be more neon lights than the past, hence it should be more mesmerizing.

It’s because I’ve grown up.

The world inside me has changed.

Life ain’t that simple anymore. I expect a lot more things now. Of course, I have a lot more problems than before.

Now, I see the tall buildings as giant jails.

I see the highways as roads of misery.

I see the neon lights as the unreachable hopes of life.

Fields, apple trees, small hills, streams…

Nowadays, I only wish to interact with the nature, talk to them and befriend them.

These highrise buildings, made of concrete and steel, were so overwhelming that I could hardly breathe.

Even the starry night above my head could not ease my desire for a simple life.

The once carefree boy was buried deep inside me,

but I will free ‘him’!

The next time I stepped onto this balcony, I wonder what kind of feeling I will have.

Hello March!

time is kinda 'flying' for me, great! i recently POPed from my basic tankee course! everything is going pretty well. hahaha, army has brought me to a whole new world....i'm feeling happy, sad, emo, creative, empty, full, restless and full of energy...tat's my life. full of bull and shit, ups and downs, simple and complex, stretched and pounded....wonderful and wicked. awesome awesome awesome...

Zleeping

Sleeping.

If i'm not wrong, i used to think that sleeping is a waste of time. Sleeping takes up approx 30% of your entire lifetime...hmm, if you live up to 100 years old, you've spent 30 years sleeping!!!! I used to believe that i prefer not sleeping(if i can do so)... and make good use of those 'sleeping time'.

hey hey. i was wrong.

Sleeping is a wonderful thing. Only till I went to the army, then i started to appreciate sleeping. the moment you know that you can close your eyes and rest after some super tiring trainings, you know that you are 'going to heaven'. this kind of feeling is awesome...period.

and i've jus attended 2 of my friends' 21st birthday chalet this sat! Congrats to Zhi Jie (15th Jan) and Amelie (17th Jan). i had a great time, Osh! but i'm super tired lah...I got to meet some 'long time no see' sec sch frens and poly frens! its really nice to see them again. I treasure friendship ALOT! (in case, u guys don't noe, lol!) I hope all the friends who i know but lost contacted still remember me! well, i'm not really good at keeping in touch with friends actually, i kinda dislike going online and chat and i dislike maintaining my friendster and facebook accounts...my bad.

anyway, i slept like a pig when i got home. and now, i hav e mood to blog! oops, i've skipped my lunch....heck lah.

yeap, sleeping is essential. it's a irreplaceable thing. it's a gift from our creator, haha! i would say, everyone has at least ard 30% of happiness in their life! and those 30% are from sleeping...provided you have a nice bed, nice pillow, nice blanket, nice room temperature etc...wahaha!

I will never want to sleep more than what i need though, cos my life is still based on those time when i'm awake. hence, i shouldn't waste my time sleeping too much....or blogging too much...haha!

2009!!!

WAHA! 1st Jan 2009! the year of moo moo cow. welcome to my life...lol!

it's a year...from the start to the end....that i'll be serving the army. Moooo~

it's a year that i will go to Germany and Australia...

it's a year that i will learn and experience new things that may have a great impact on my future life.

it's a year of bad economy...but it won't affect me much...lol!

it's a year that i need lots of mind power to overcome...haha!

it's a year that i expect the least from everything.

perhaps with low expectations, i can actually enjoy my life better?

i shall see....lol!

well, this doesn't mean that i will 'moo moo' my 2009 away like a loser...

it's a year that i will continue to improve myself, as an artist...a soldier...a normal human being. moooo~

2008 was great. i'll tell u why...

at first, i tot 2008 was nothing much (i'm so wrong)...probably becos of that epic 'acneggedon' issue that kinda ruined my good feelings about 2008. (stupid me).... i also got emo about having insufficient time to draw and rest...haiz....not to mention that i'm going to be single for 21 years ...lol! and i didn't gain much weight...haiz....basketball skill deproved...can no longer touch the rim....haiz.... parents not around to cook good food for me...holycow~

BUT i think i've neglected some really wonderful things that had happened earlier this year! i received Diploma with Merit from Digital Media Design course. miss my lor mee! miss my illegal Lan game sessions! miss everything there lah! and then i went to HK and Shen Zhen...got to meet my relatives! updated my ID card to lee HOU yeung. went to Thailand with my buddies, i won't forget this one :) ...after grad, i played like there's no tomorrow. i oso managed to draw something that pleased myself. then, i got enlisted! Army is FUN for me...but the idea that it takes 2 years to finish is kinda TOO fun...moohaha! 24km route march, field camp, live firing, threw grenade, super short hair cut, gay on bed etc. and recently, became a tankee...got gold for IPPT...make new army frens....and now i have developed some awesome ideas for my future projects!!! (my greatest achievement in 2008.) Mooray!!

2008 was fantastic lah. 2008 had contributed a lot to this super nice guy u noe now. i'm grateful.


i randomly picked a card from a deck minutes before 2009 arrives...i wanted this card to 'represent' my life in the year 2009....
